My name is Sinead Cormack. This is my first year of teaching at Burrendah Primary School. I have always had a passion for teaching and am thoroughly enjoying my time so far in Room 12. Outside of teaching I have a love for fitness, drawing and spending time with family and new puppy. I believe teaching should be about the whole child and their interests not just academics. I aim to provide all my students with a safe, happy and supportive environment in which they can achieve to be their best. I also strive to ensure that I am being the best role model that I can for my students by consistently modelling the nine core values of Burrendah Primary School.

Reading Groups
In Room 12 there is a big focus on levelled reading groups to ensure all learning is aimed at the level of the child.
Narrative Writing
During Term One we have been focusing on narrative writing. We have been using the 7 Steps narrative structure to help us with creating these.
