Early Childhood: K - PP | Room 14

I have been an Early Childhood Teacher at Burrendah since 2012. As a Kindergarten Teacher, I aspire to create a warm and safe environment, where my students can foster independence and an enthusiasm for learning. My aim is to provide a motivating and challenging program through purposeful play and explicit teaching that caters for students of all abilities. Oral language and fine motor development form the core of our learning experiences and students have the opportunity to make choices in a supportive environment. We welcome and encourage family involvement in our Kindergarten program as "alone we can do so little; together we can do so much" (Helen Keller).
