Philosophy of Teaching
We recognise that students have different abilities; therefore we use differentiated and explicit teaching strategies to provide authentic leaning opportunities in the classroom.
Utilising the Thinking Skills Framework, with clear examples and high-expectations of the students, we endeavour to use open-ended questions to create meaningful, rigorous discussion to link ideas in the learning process.
Through regular, consistent and collaborative teacher conferencing the year six teachers ensure that all students receive education programs that are differentiated, balanced and uniform across the cohort.
